Altera brand restored, multiple FPGA products launched

Intel announced on February 29, local time, that its newly independent FPGA company was renamed Altera. As early as October last year, Intel announced that its Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) would begin operating independently this year.

Intel said Altera's FPGAs provide flexible solutions to better meet changing market needs, such as seamless integration of critical artificial intelligence inference capabilities and better interception of evolving standards such as PCI Express, CXL, Ethernet, and 6G wireless.
