The modern automobile industry develops very rapidly. For example, the car key has replaced the traditional mechanical key now. Commonly, we use remote keys or smart keys. However, it has also brought some trouble to many consumers-what if the key is dead or the battery is broken. How to replace the battery? What type of battery should I choose?
Being too hot or cold can impair its ability to store and release energy in most cases. In short, cold weather shortens the life of the battery because it needs to be charged more often. This blog will compare the difference between CR2032, CR2016, CR2025, CR2450, and CR1632.

Generally speaking, the battery of the car key is a button battery, which has a relatively long service life. Traditionally, batteries can be used for more than 3 years. To replace the battery in your car key, you must purchase the correct model. Not all car keys use CR2032, CR2450, CR2025, and CR2016 are also optional. Here, what models are CR2032 and CR2025? What does CR stand for in a battery? According to IEC rules, in lithium batteries, chromium is also used, which is why it is also called CR batteries. Most people associate CR with a button or button cell, but it is the chemical name for chromium.
C - stands for lithium manganese dioxide.
R- followed by another letter indicates a round battery with the chemistry indicated by the first letter.
Numbers - The last four digits indicate the size, the first two indicate the diameter and the last two indicate the thickness.
All batteries containing this chemical in the battery can use the abbreviation CR.

CR2032 batteries are the most common battery coin and provide long-lasting, reliable power for a variety of devices. They are used to power small electronic devices such as calculators, watches, various medical equipment, exercise equipment, toys, etc. As for the run time of the CR2032, how long should the 2032 battery last? For example, a typical LED uses about 20mA, while a CR2032 coin cell has a capacity of 200mAh.
CR2016 batteries are commonly used in calculators, digital watches, memory backup, laser pointers, car key remotes, calculators, toys, fitness equipment, and medical equipment such as thermometers and tensiometers. It has a proven track record with appliances that cannot run on traditional batteries.
CR2025 batteries provide long-lasting and reliable power for a wide variety of devices. Such batteries are often used in car key fobs, medical equipment, digital watches, fitness equipment, and other electronics.
CR1632 batteries are mainly used in low-power electronic products, and their output current generally ranges from 0.001mA to 5mA. For example, CR1632 batteries are often used in electronic appliances such as car key remotes, watches, and toys. It also provides long-lasting and reliable power. Stored at room temperature, ventilated, and dry (humidity not exceeding 60%), the validity period is 2 years.
The CR2450 battery has certain achievements for applications that cannot be used traditionally. Use them in calculators, digital watches, laser pointers, car keys, medical equipment such as thermometers and tensiometers, and fitness appliances. Stored in a room temperature, ventilated, dry environment (humidity not exceeding 60%), the validity period can reach 3-5 years.
